WEDDING CAKE POLICIES
Wedding consultations: Appointment
required. Consultation is free for the first 30 minutes. After
30 minutes, it is $30 per hour. The consultation fee is applied
towards the cost of the cake if you book your wedding cake with Cakes
Plus.
As you are deciding on the final look of your wedding cake, we recommend ordering
a six-inch tasting cake to take home, and sample with those involved in choosing
a cake. The cost of the cake is $10 ($15 with fondant).
In order to hold a date for your wedding,
we require a $100 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel or change the date, the $100
deposit will not be refunded . We cannot guarantee the availability of a particular day
until the $100 deposit is received.
Once all details regarding the wedding cake have been decided, we draw up a contract
with all the information.
Two weeks prior to the wedding, a final count for the number of guests will be due.
Based on this count, the balance due on the cake will be calculated and the size of the
cake adjusted accordingly.
In addition to the cost of the cake, there
will be a deposit for any type of plastic pillars and/or separators, or any type of special
cake-stand you may be using for your cake. When all parts are returned (within a
month), your deposit will be refunded. If you have any questions about our policies
